Founded in 1994, Cylab, is a small disadvantaged business that develops software solutions for government, DoD, and commercial clients. Cylab has developed a large number of applications in the .NET and J2EE development environments and offers a rapid prototyping solution strategy that permits the building of operational systems in very short time frames. This includes both database design as well as user interface screen generation. Cylab strives to identify generic solutions that can be reapplied in similar situations. 

We have taken one such solution to the commercial market - Vizier™ Finder, an intelligent tool that in one interface enables your users to find documents on the desktop and network, as well as records in database(s). Our fuzzy search capability is so accurate, even when the search criteria have not been typed in correctly, Vizier™ can find your document or record in seconds. It is capable of inexact searches on strings, numbers and dates to identify ‘best fit’ matches to a set of user supplied search criteria. Results are provided back to the user in order of relevance. Our solution also offers an interface that is so easy to use; no specialized technical knowledge is required by the user.
